The elusive website traffic. When its there, and your site is converting, the combination can be a very beautiful thing.
Sometimes you can have the best designed, and most functional website for your business out there, yet you don’t seem to be getting any extra business from it. This is because you are lacking traffic to the website. The funny thing about traffic though, is how much do you need to make your business profitable?

Your traffic to your site is very good. It is almost exclusively coming from Pakistan. I am not sure how the traffic is coming though, as Alexa states very little search engine traffic. I suspect Alexa is wrong, and you are getting most of your traffic from the search term Mardan City.
There is not much to analyze. You are getting good traffic, and have done something right to do it. Most likely it is your domain name and the lots of keyword content that did it for you, which is the bulk of my strategies, when taking on a new client.

I am interested… but your example above is confusing.
It shows a website promoting nationwide with 20,000 searches but “very few visits to the site are refered by the search engines” So are they from advertising or pay per click visitors???
Then you suggest an offline mechanics shop could convert 1 in 500 visitors and sell $8000.
A local mechanics shop will never generate 20,000 visitors in 10 years even if they are on Google page#1 for their geo-targeted keyword!!!!
You are trying to compare two totally different business models…
I make this observation not to be critical… but to hopefully invite you prove me wrong.

Thanks for the comments. I approved them, because you had some valid points so let me clarify.
The traffic to AffordableAffiliates.com is not organic SEO traffic. In fact at this time SEO only accounts for about 6% of the site traffic. Alexa is bad on search analytics, but traffic analytics they are spot on.
What we did with AAN, is a number of things.
First, we developed a very effective exclusive proprietary software that allows one individual to post 80-100 ads on all the major classified sites, such as craigslist, backpage, kijiji and more.
Then the sites that allowed html ads with clickable links, we had a featured product for the title with the featured product at the top of the html ad.
Then we took 10 other similar items using our proprietary software that builds these ads in seconds, so that each ad actually has 10-13 products in it.
This is not to get multiple clicks from the same user, as this is not the unique visitor count.
It is actually so that when people perform a search on these sites, we dominate the search and come up with almost every keyword in our niche.
This technique is responsible for 50% of the traffic.
The other 43% is coming from direct affiliate traffic (of course we added an affiliate program, most unique one on the net), and people that have bookmarked the site.
The truth is, the SEO part is the last part we are starting to hit.
With over 1,000,000 items in inventory, once all the inventory is listed, and the SEO is working, this will result in pushing the unique visitors to over 100,000 a month.
This combined with a dormant affiliate program while we await the final legal proceedings with lawyers, accountants, and the BCSC, and you will see a top 5,000 site in the world for traffic and the ultimate leader in antiques, secondhand, and artwork in Canada second only to Ebay who has only user content on the site.
This site the inventory is actually purchased and held by the company.
A very unique concept, and a very viral site once all components are done.
I truly believe that AAN will be a giant in the retail sector and a top 50 retail site in the world as it continues with its business model over the next 5-10 years.
The mechanic model, I can understand, because I put in 8,000 a month in my words, when in reality I meant 8,000 per 10,000 visitors.
Quite frankly I only made those numbers up anyways more to make a point on how one would calculate their ROI after we passed a couple of thousand people through on the traffic.
I hope that clarifies some things for you, and I really do appreciate the comments, so that I could clear that up for others that may be thinking the same thing you did.

the keyword it is targeting there is over 150 million matches.

If this site is a template from another service, and it is duplicated out there, it will be near impossible to get any SEO traffic from it.
If it is totally unique content, and you wrote this, or you hired someone to write it, you have a chance at SEO but still a tough direction considering the competition.
Your best bet for traffic is to post ads to the appropriate section in Craigslist, and to use HTML ads if it is allowed for that category.
I could design a set of 5 html ads that all you would have to is paste into the ads section of craigslist, backpage, and other sites like this.
Could also do a video submission service for you, but quite honestly, I could not justify the expense of me making a video for you, and trying this due to the competition of the keyword. If you keyword matches 2,000,000 or less, I am quite confident of my work, but 150,000,000 is a real hit and miss situation. Not worth the risk on your part.
